Urumqi Xinjiang: A Muslim Culture Journey

Join me on an eye-opening journey through one of China’s most controversial cities, a vibrant Muslim-majority area with a rich history, culture, and unique traditions. In this video, I explore the heart of this famous Muslim city of Urumqi in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Northwestern China, one of the most controversial places in China. It has been restricted for tourists to visit this famous Muslim city in China, so I decided to see what life is like for Muslims in China and see how they live. Many people told me not to visit this part of China due to danger and tourists being restricted to enter this part of China. This travel video will highlight my experience meeting Chinese Muslims, discovering their culture, and seeing from my own perspective what Islam means to Chinese people from this part of China.
