One Day in Chengdu: Panda Bases, Sichuan Food, and Bian Lian
How Much I Spend in 1 Day in CHINA | Chengdu 🇨🇳 (As a Tourist)

If you’re thinking about taking a trip to China, I’ll take you through our fully packed day as a couple of tourists to give you an idea of how much it costs to eat, visit attractions, and book accommodation in one of China’s biggest cities. In this video, we start off the day by visiting a Giant Panda Research Base just outside Chengdu where there are fewer crowds than the one inside the city, and you get to see Giant Pandas and Red Pandas up close and personal. Then, we grab some spicy Szechuan lunch and head back to Chengdu on the metro to go see a Chinese Opera with the famous regional specialty Bian Lian or Face-changing performance. Afterwards, we head out to one of the popular neighborhood streets to have some street food and go into one of the local bars. Stay tuned for the next video China’s Little Mecca. Time stamps cover the panda bases, metro, translations, opera, ear cleaning, face-changing, night market, neighborhood bar, meeting locals, rabbit vendor, ice jelly dessert and final price.
