Black Traveler's Cultural Exchange in Remote Chinese Village

Today I visited a remote village park in China — and something beautiful happened. As a Black foreigner living in China, I often stand out — but this time, a group of curious kids approached me with genuine questions about my skin color and where I’m from.

Their honesty led to a real, unplanned cultural exchange that was both heartwarming and eye-opening. I took time to explain and help them understand that people come in all shades — and that our differences are beautiful.
