I am traveling from East-Tibet's lake Ranwu to the Laigu Glacier area, which is the largest and best preserved glacier area in Tibet. It is the third largest glacier group in the world.

On my way I stopped by a spiritual Bhuddist house where some locals formed clay statues to commemorate and merit Bhudda. This tradition is repeated every 4th month of the Tibetan calendar which is the second most sacred event of Tibetan Bhuddists.

Later on, I continued traveling to Yarlong Glacier and three of its neighboring glaciers. Some locales guided me to a short glacier hike, eventually ending up in an ice cave that was melting due to the sunlight.

Join me on this surreal trip through the Tibetan Highlands.
