Shanghai's Insane Skyline: Exploring Lujiazui & Xiangyang Market
First Time in China...Exploring Shanghai’s INSANE Skyline!
Destination:ChinaCity:ShanghaiPopulation:24.9 million
My first time in Shanghai and honestly, I’m still blown away. Instead of heading to the Bund, me and my brother @Danygotaworldtosee wandered through the Lujiazui Financial District, stared up at the massive Shanghai Tower, and stepped into malls that felt like entire cities. We also explored the buzzing Xiangyang Market and, back near our hotel in the North Bund, discovered supermarkets packed with snacks and everyday essentials I’d never seen before.
What amazed me most is how new all of this is — the Oriental Pearl Tower, built in 1994, is actually the oldest building here. Everything else has risen in just the last few decades, making the skyline feel like the future dropped right into the present.
This video isn’t about postcard views, but about strolling through the city, seeing how people live, shop, and move beneath these insane skyscrapers. If you’re curious about Shanghai’s growth, come along for the walk!
