Beijing Family Adventure: Hutongs, Kung Fu, & Cultural Immersion

Our family's first full day in Beijing was filled with a mix of exciting and unexpected experiences. We started with a quiet morning, then explored the bustling Hutongs and streets of the city. We discovered that the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, a slight detour in our plans. We enjoyed some delicious Mixue ice cream and tea, took a fun Kung Fu class, and indulged in a Peking duck dinner. We also observed the modern side of Beijing with its ZEEKR electric cars and efficient metro system. The day ended with a beautiful sunset view over the vibrant waters of Shichahai.
