Today was Matthew and Holly's first time at Hong Kong Disneyland, one of my favourite theme Parks in the world; its compact size means all the rides are really easy to navigate to. Unfortunately, we needed to cut the day short after just a couple of hours. We start the day a little late at our hotel, the Disney's Explorers Lodge hotel and get the courtesy shuttle bus to Hong Kong Disneyland. After getting through security we start to walk around the theme park, first through Adventure Land and then Mystic Point where we go on Mystic Manor, a Haunted Mansion type attraction and one of my favourites in the park. After walking through Toy Story Land we get lunch at the Royal Banquet Hall; me and Matthew both have the mixed grill. It tasted really good. We then go on the AntMan and the Wasp Nano Battle ride, another really good ride at the park. Holly is progressively feeling worse so we decide to call it a day and leave the park and go back to the hotel so she can rest for the remainder of the day. Later Matthew and I go for a swim at the Disney's Explorers Lodge swimming pool and then I go for a walk around the hotel next door, the Disney Hollywood Hotel, as when we come back to Hong Kong in the future I am thinking about staying in this hotel so wanted to look around.

What happened during our Hong Kong Disneyland trip?
Holly got sick, so we had to leave early. It was disappointing, but her health is more important than the theme park!
What rides did we manage to go on?
We went on Mystic Manor and the Ant-Man and the Wasp ride. They were both really fun!
What was the food like at the Royal Banquet Hall?
The mixed grill was pretty good, but the wait was ridiculously long. They make every plate to order, which is super inefficient.
What about the Premier Access passes?
They were expensive, and we didn't even use them all because we left early. Getting a refund was a whole thing, too!
What was the Disney's Hollywood Hotel like?
I just took a quick walk around, but it looked nice. I might stay there next time we come to Hong Kong.
