I took China's newest high-speed sleeper train to get from Shenzhen to Shanghai! The G900 high-speed train was only launched mid-2024 and is racing across China at up to 350 km/h (217 mph). It is the perfect way to skip the airport and experience China's latest advanced train firsthand, so of course I had to try it out for myself and WOW this train in Today, I rode the high-speed sleeper train from Shenzhen to Shanghai. Starting October 1st, the sleeper trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Beijing West Station, as well as those between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Station, had been upgraded to the "Fuxing" smart sleeper trains. This marks China's first sleeper service at a maximum speed of 350 km/h (217.48 mph) and the world's first high-speed sleeper train.
