Zhangjiajie Mountains also known as the Avatar Mountains is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in China. After visiting the mountains, we can see why the movie Avatar was inspired by Zhangjiajie. We hiked the Golden Whip Stream to the top of Zhangjiajie, then took an elevator on the side of the mountain, and enjoyed every minute of it. Zhangjiajie should definitely be on your China Bucket List.
