We travel China for food and what better way to introduce ourselves to the cuisine than a Michelin-star meal. Before eating we head straight to the famous Beijing supermarket bar, Heaven, and fill our basket with local and foreign beers. We walk around Sanlitun with our local friend and explore the area he grew up in and his school while discussing the changes made to the area within the last 25 years. We head to The Opposite House where Jing Yaa Tang is based under Chef Li Dong’s with his mastery of Peking duck and reimagined classics. We watch as the master carves our Peking duck and dig into our $250 meal. Once eaten we ride Alipay bikes across the city to the Great Leaping Brewery, Beijing's best award winning craft beer bar to experience some of Beijing's nightlife of the infamous bar street.
