In Shanxi, China a local couple stopped us in the street to say welcome to Datong, after just a couple minutes of chatting they invited us to come and eat Xinjiang BBQ with them. This kind gesture from, once strangers; now our new friends, Cindy and Steven will stay with us forever and we will always remember Datong because of them.

In Datong, we explored the incredible Yungang Grottoes which I truly believe is China's 2nd wonder of the world. Incredible Buddhist figures carved out of the mountains left us absolutely mind-blown.
