It is just incredible the huge amount of diversity that exist in China! This is Dunhuang, a small city in Northwestern Gansu Province, it’s known today for the Mogao Caves, a complex of 492 grottoes adorned with Buddhist statuary and frescoes. We came here to see this place, but the first night we went out to explore a little bit, I was greatly surprised with the delicious cuisine from this part of China, and later we went to see one of the most impressive theater plays I have ever seen in my entire life! So vibrant and colorful, not the typical play where you sit down on a seat and just watch, this was more like an immersive experience! Just wonderful!
