I spent the May holiday exploring Wuxi, and honestly, I can't believe more people aren’t talking about this city. Just a short trip from Shanghai, Wuxi surprised me with its beautiful ancient water towns, glowing lanterns, and the way it blends history with everyday life.

In this video, I take you with me to Huishan and Huinan ancient towns, where I watched the villages slowly shift from quiet mornings to glowing, lantern-lit nights. It was incredibly busy because of the National Holiday, but that energy added something special. The temples, bridges, and narrow streets were full of life. Wuxi felt like a secret, full of charm, yet somehow still under the radar.
