What was the most challenging part of the hot pot experience?
Definitely ordering the food! The menu was all in Chinese, and there were so many things I didn't recognize. Plus, there were tons of people around shouting food at us!
What was the most surprising thing you saw in Chongqing?
Probably the monorail running through a residential building! It looked so futuristic and it was crazy how many people were there to see it.
What was your favorite part of the trip?
Seeing the pandas at the zoo! They were so cute and the enclosures seemed pretty good. It was a real highlight of the whole China trip.
What's the best way to get around Chongqing?
The metro system is awesome. It's really efficient and futuristic, plus some of the lines are monorails which is pretty cool.
What's one thing you'd recommend to other travelers visiting Chongqing?
Definitely find that hidden sunset viewpoint! It's a magical spot to watch the city lights turn on.
