I am always fascinated by border regions. The border to mainland China is not far, so I decided to head out of Hong Kong City to make a journey to the north. Also a great opportunity to see rural Hong Kong, which I haven't seen before. Totally different compared to the busy Hong Kong City center. Join me on the journey to the outskirts of Hong Kong to a little border village at the border to mainland China, which I was not allowed to enter... ΒΆ Are tourists not welcome here? Well, there is an answer to this as we will find out.
