Exploring Beijing's Forbidden City Hutongs and Street Food in China

We arrived in Beijing and honestly, it's not what we expected. The city is massive, modern, and bustling with energy. We started our day by visiting the Forbidden City, which was absolutely stunning. The architecture and history here are incredible. After that, we explored the hutongs, the traditional alleyways, and grabbed some street food. The jianbing was amazing. We also visited Tiananmen Square, which felt very grand and significant. The contrast between old and new in this city is fascinating. We're excited to explore more of China.

Later, we went to a local market and tried some authentic Beijing duck. It was so flavorful and crispy. The locals were friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. We also took a walk through a park and saw people practicing tai chi and playing mahjong. It felt very peaceful amidst the busy city. We're really enjoying our time here and can't wait to see what else China has to offer.
